I joined the Fitness Locker just under a year ago where I took part in the 6 week trial following a nudge from my mother who had also signed up 2 weeks ahead of me. I had always known about the Fitness Locker having followed their social media pages for some time. I knew they were different to your standard gym and had seen the amazing results from their clients so I got in touch with Lee and was soon booked in for my onboarding session.During the 6 week trial, I soon fell back in love with exercising and that buzz feeling having completed a workout. As expected, the coaches were knowledgeable and motivating and the concept of the Check-In’s really helped keep my focus. My targets weren’t your typical drop a dress size and ‘get fitter’ targets, instead I wanted to improve my unhealthy relationship with food and build the strength I had lost in recent years when my weight plummeted to an all time low. As the end of my trial grew closer, I made the decision to join the Fitness Locker as a full time member. Attending sessions had become part of my daily routine, and I didn’t want to lose that or the friendships I had made along the way.

Almost a year later and over a stone heavier, I feel and look better than ever. I’ve realised that food isn’t the devil, exercise isn’t a chore and investing in myself is key to my happiness. Joining the Fitness Locker family has been one of the best decisions l’ve made.

This is uncommon in the fitness world in recent years but it works for our clients and for us, as they get better results and personal attention.
